Origin

Gorosaurus is an unusually large theropod dinosaur discovered by Lieutenant Susan Watson on Mondo or Faro Island. Before the dinosaur could devour Lt. Watson, it was attacked and seemingly killed by King Kong.

Gorosaurus turned up later on Monster Island and ravaged Paris in Destroy All Monsters. Having grown to nearly match Godzilla in height, it took an instrumental role in the final battle against King Ghidorah at Mount Fuji.
