Origin

Resembling an insect, with 4 limbs and 2 pairs of wings, Megalon is in fact a protector god of the underwater city of Seatopia, sent by the Seatopians along with Gigan on the surface of Earth in retaliation to the destruction of their own kingdom by men’s nuclear experiments. Guided by the android Jet-Jaguar, Megalon defeated Japan's armies and laid waste to much of Tokyo before Godzilla  intervened and sent it back to the depths of sea.
